2022 Jaguar F-TYPE vs 2021 Jaguar F-TYPE

Serving Atlanta, GA

British automotive excellence is on full display throughout the popular F-TYPE. This grand touring model debuted in 2014, and it continues to be in its first generation through the 2021 and 2022 versions. While the latest versions of the F-TYPE are similar in many areas, the 2022 F-TYPE has a few significant updates that you need to be aware of before making your final selection. Our Jaguar South Atlanta reps are available to help you experience the differences between these versions through a test drive. Before you arrive, however, you should spend a few minutes getting to know more about your options.

Performance

The most notable differences between the 2021 F-TYPE and the 2022 version are found under the hood. For 2021, the F-TYPE has three powertrains. The base-level option is a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbo engine, and it gives you 296 horsepower. The other options are a supercharged V6, a 3.0-liter engine that generates 380 horsepower, and a supercharged V8, a 5.0-liter engine that produces 575 horsepower. For 2022, the four-cylinder and six-cylinder engines are deleted. A new P450 trim level is introduced, and it comes with a 444-horsepower V8 gas engine.

Appearance

Visually, the 2021 and 2022 F-TYPE two-seaters are identical. They both have long, swooping curves with a power vent mounted near the front fender. The open-air design is combined with a signature Jaguar grille and angled headlights. The headlights are underscored by an LED bar, and this look is mimicked in the air vents that sit directly below the headlights.

Features

The features between the 2021 and 2022 F-TYPE cars are unchanged on a trim-by-trim basis. Entry-level features include a 380-watt sound system, a digital display cluster, lane keep assist, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a 10-inch touch display screen, memory settings, and leather seats with suede inserts. Higher trim levels come with features like performance seats, upgraded leather material, 20-inch wheels, keyless entry, a heated steering wheel, blind-spot monitoring, and a Meridian sound system.
