2020 Jaguar XE vs 2020 Jaguar XF

Serving Union City, GA

The Jaguar XE debuted in 2014 at the Paris Motor Show. The XE classifies as a compact executive car and competes alongside models like the Infiniti Q50 and the Mercedes C-Class line of vehicles. With seating for five people, the 2020 Jaguar XE serves customers who are looking for a vehicle more extensive than a compact car but smaller than an executive car. The Jaguar XF has a more extended heritage than the Jaguar XE. Initially introduced in 2007, the Jaguar XF received a redesign for the 2011 model year. Classified as an executive car, the XF is a good fit for customers who would like a car that is smaller than a full-size sedan. With its four-door design and five-person seating capacity, the 2020 Jaguar XF offers ample room for its occupants.

There are two four-cylinder engine layouts available for the 2020 Jaguar XE. The first of the two engines is a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that produces 247 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque. The second engine is a more-powerful turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that produces 296 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. Power for both engines is connected to the wheels through the use of an eight-speed automatic transmission that offers a manual shifting mode. The 2020 Jaguar XF is powered by two different engine platforms. A turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine is for every trim beside the XF S. The XF S utilizes a larger supercharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that produces 380 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque. The turbocharged 2.0-liter engine produces a maximum of 296 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque.

The 2020 Jaguar XE is available in three different trims while the 2020 Jaguar XF is available in ten different trim levels. While the largest differences between the XE and XF trims lie in their powertrain options, there are several different appearance options available between the trim levels. Buyers who are looking for sporty options have access to paddle shifters and sport seats in the 2020 XER-Dynamic while seats with red leather stitching are available in the 2020 XF.

The 2020 Jaguar XE is available with an improved InControl Touch Pro Duo system. Additionally, both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are included in 2020 XE models. Much like the 2020 XE, the 2020 Jaguar XF is also available with an InControl Touch Pro Duo system that provides Apple Carplay and Android Auto. Customers of the 2020 XF can choose to add an optional 4G LTE mobile hotspot to the InControl system as well.

The new 2020 Jaguar XE and 2020 Jaguar XF are both great sedan models that Jaguar has included in their lineup of 2020 vehicles.
